My son and I love reading Tabby McTat.
So sad Freddie & the Fairy didn't get a vote. It's a huge favourite in our house. I bought it for my sons first birthday last May and nearly one year on it still gets read two or three times a week (& I know it off by heart by now too....). We love Freddie & Bessie Belle xx
Stick man is my favourite book. I like it when Santa comes to visit Stick man. Stick man makes me laugh so much.
My favourite book is The Gruffalo's Child. I love my mum to read it to me whilst im tucked up in bed on a cold night. But a close second would be Highway Rat but its not on the list
My favourite book was not there! I love reading The smartest giant in town to my class, they LOVE the part when his trousers fall down!!
The Highway Rat is GENIUS! My favourite poem just got even better! Didn't think that Noyes' poem could be bettered, but I enjoy this so much. My two year old loves this and constantly asks for "RAT, RAT". Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!
My favourite Julia Donaldson book is actually 'One Ted Falls Out of Bed' but its not on the list, so my 2nd favourite is 'Zog' and that got my vote with 'Cave Baby' close behind if i could have picked more than one. 'The Gruffalo' is undeniably a wonderful book though, a real must-have in every kid's book collection. Deservedly winning the poll right now.
I've seen The Gruffalo's Child on TV not any of the others. It was good
This book rhymes beautifully. My daughter loves pretending to eat the food from the page.
My daughter loves The Gruffalo's child. Even as a good-night story it is not scary, just highly amusing and even we parents don't get tired reading the book to her. I personally love the fact that the child is a "She", sadly this is not reflected in the German translation.
My favourite JD book is night monkey day monkey! I am just about to submit my story reading entry reading "night monkey day monkey"!
I thoroughly enjoy reading this book through the illustration and text. I have read it to many children over the years and it always proves to be a firm favourite!
